Let's admit it, we all have been guilty of having that pile of unwanted clothes, furniture and other items just lying around in our homes. You know, the ones - the clothes that no longer fit, the sofa you don't need anymore, toys your kids have outgrown, etc.

The pre-loved usable items can be put to much better use by donating them to charity organizations. Not only can it make a difference in the lives of people in need but also, it reduces the amount of waste that goes to landfills. Further, clothing and items that aren't in good condition can still be given to charities - they are often recycled into other usable items like insulation, stuffing, paper manufacturing and more.

But even though you have all the best intentions, it is often difficult to find charity bins in your local area, or perhaps you're unaware of what the process is or what items are acceptable.

Currently, we've mapped about 2,500 charity and donation bins in major Australian cities like Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Hobart, Darwin and more.

You can find bins of almost all major registered charities such as Lifeline, Salvos, Save The Children, SCR Group, Smith Family, Red Cross, Vinnies, Anglicare and counting.

We think we only covered the tip of the iceberg and there are more bins that we’re yet to map especially in the regional areas. If you know of a charity bin in your area, you can help us in our mission by submitting the details (location, accepted items and contact details).
